I must say, the Troller T4 is one of the most significant projects of my transportation design career. In 2007, I had the incredible opportunity to relocate to Brazil for three years and work on this iconic Brazilian off-roader, originally produced by Troller and acquired by Ford Motor Company the year I arrived. Immersing myself in the rich culture of Brazil and understanding the passionate Troller owners allowed me to truly empathize with their needs and desires. I learned how deeply they cherished these vehicles for their ability to conquer tough terrains and reach privileged places that many could only dream of. Leading both the Exterior and Interior design teams, we collaborated closely to bring this remarkable product to life.

The Troller T4 draws its inspiration from a blend of classic off-road vehicles such as the Jeep Wrangler and early Ford Bronco models. Introduced in 2004 with a fiberglass body and steel chassis, it heavily resembled a Jeep Wrangler. When Ford acquired the company, the challenge was to respect what people loved about it, while developing its own distinct brand identity.
