One of my first projects at the Ingini studio, was to design products for Aston Martin that represented the brand and the direction of their designs. This project reflected the forward-thinking approach the brand was focusing on.
Research and Inspiration
Rafael took inspiration from the many tower structures that old England is known for, contrasting them with new, simple architecture. This blend provided a base of refinement and elegance through clean lines.
The Aston Martin chess set was showcased at the Geneva Auto show in 2001, highlighting its refined and elegant design inspired by the contrast between historic English towers and modern, minimalist architecture.
